ELIA Life Technology will be providing a number of products that will enable ELIA® Alphabet readers to live more independently.

They are:

• A Tactile Keyboard
  Tactile keyboards will enable visually impaired and novice sighted computer users to learn to type and type more efficiently than they could without tactile keys.
  
• Label Makers
  We will produce an instruction manual, a manual label maker, and an electronic label maker for use by our customers. Customers will use these labelers to independently complete essential daily activities such as preparing meals, taking medication, maintaining personal hygiene, and using household and computer devices. With greater independence, they will achieve a better quality of life.
  
• Tactile Printers
  We will produce computer printers that enable our customers to read rich tactile texts. Two printers are planned: one for institutions and professionals that need to print large amounts of text, and one for individuals that need to print occasional texts.
  
• A Tactile Computer Screen
  ELIA Life Technology will develop a tactile computer screen in which the computer screen pixels protract and retract to create tactile images and texts.
